Mine N Yours Childcare currently provides a fantastic before and after school care, and vacation care program at Coopers Plains State Primary School.

Our priority it to create a warm and caring environment where your children are happy, engaged and comfortable. Our staff are equally focussed on preparing a place where you feel confident and secure in leaving your children. We value:

Before & After School Care

Before School Times: 6.30am – 8.30am
After School Times: 2.30pm – 6.00pm

It is so important to us, that your child has a chance to relax, have fun and eat well before and after school, so our program is structured to ensure that they get to do just that. Each day includes a variety of structured and unstructured activities such as educational activities, arts and crafts fun plus outdoor play and sports. We also ensure all children have some quiet time just to relax and to work on their homework tasks as well.

We understand that each child has their own definition of fun, some love being outdoors while others prefer the quieter indoors play. The range of activities we provide are quite diverse, but here is a small selection of what you would expect so see going on inside Mine n Yours Childcare:

Vacation Care

Holidays are made for FUN! Right?
Vacation Care Times: Mon-Fri 6.30am-6.00pm

That’s why we jam-pack our vacation/holiday care program with a huge variety of fun filled activities from arts & craft to outdoor sports, dancing, games and role play.

Our Vacation Care programs are carefully structured to include the types of activities that will help develop your children’s creativity, learning ability, co-ordination, health, social skills and independence… all the while having loads of fun and creating everlasting memories.

We love seeing the individual personalities of each and every child in our care develop and shine.

Our team enjoy heading off on excursions as much as the kids do! Excursions and incursions are an enriching method of strengthening friendships, developing resilience and improving independence. They are always carefully planned to ensure safety at all times. We will release details about the specific excursions planned for each holiday break closer to the end of term.

You are also welcome to pop in and pay us a visit at Coopers Plains State School, during the before and after school hours.

Food and Nutrition

We encourage and promote the health and wellbeing of your children through a nutritious diet.

We invite you to support us in this approach by packing healthy meals and snacks for your children.

Mine N Yours Childcare provides fresh, healthy and nutritious food at breakfast and/or afternoon tea times. Our menu will change seasonally and does cater to individual dietary requirements where possible… as well as appealing to our kids taste faves!

Mine N Yours Childcare is a peanut/tree nut free zone.

Childcare food nutrition

Here is a little taste tease as to what we may offer each day!

Breakfast:

  • Grain foods with at least one wholemeal or wholegrain choice such as Weetbix, porridge, muesli or cereal flakes served with reduced fat milk.

AND a selection of…

  • Wholemeal/wholegrain toast
  • English muffins, crumpets or raisin bread with small amounts of assorted spreads (e.g. margarine, ricotta cheese, natural peanut butter, and fruit).

AND a selection of…

  • Seasonal fruit and vegetables (e.g. apples, oranges, bananas, pears, grapes, carrots, cucumbers, capsicum, green beans, snow peas, cherry tomatoes) or
  • Canned fruit in natural juice, served with reduced fat yoghurt.

Afternoon tea:

A selection of…

  • Seasonal fruit and vegetables
  • Wholegrain crackers, reduced fat cheese, hummus dip, carrot, cucumber, celery sticks
  • Reduced fat cheese, ham or tuna and tomato sandwiches made with wholegrain bread
  • Raisin bread and margarine.
